What are Hidden (Invisible) Disabilities ?

These are disabilities that you can't see just by looking at a person. The person may look perfectly fine and healthy to your naked eye, but this person is actually facing daily, persistent challenges. Usually, when we think of disabilities, we imagine something we can see, like a person using a wheelchair or walking with crutches. Invisible disabilities are just as real and impactful, even if we can't see them. These disabilities usually can not be detected on pathology test, x-rays or MRI's and are commonly dismissed by their Medical Practitioner and sometimes told "It is all in your head". Some people go undiagnosed for years, being dismissed by many doctors and/or specialists.
